The Citizens' Consultative Committees (CCCs) are the umbrella organisations of all grassroots organisations. They plan and lead grassroots activities at the constituency level, oversee community and welfare programmes, and serve as a feedback channel between the people and the Government
The Marsiling CCC headed by Chairman Mr Cheong Khim Teck, JP, BBM comprises members from various educational level, professions, social backgrounds and age groups. Among its members are businessmen, civil servants, teachers and respectable community leaders.
The Chairmen of the nine Residents' Committees (RCs) and two Neighbourhood Committees (NC) are included as members of the CCC to provide feedbacks from their residents.
The Marsiling CCC holds monthly meetings which are usually attended by the Advisor, Mr Hawazi Daipi, officials from Sembawang Town Council, and officials from various Government agencies such as the Land Transport Authority (LTA), National Environment Agency (NEA) and NorthWest Community Development Council (CDC).
